It’s a mindset
This exhibition brings together works made in Florence during a residency at Santa Reparata International School of Art offered in collaboration with the Associazione Le Arti Tessili. The access to a darkroom allowed me to explore the development of photographic images on a variety of handmade papers. I became interested in the representation of the fold in the history of Renaissance Italian painting and sculpture. With the fold as territory and language, I looked for the body, the movement, and the passage of time.
The title of the exhibition, la vie est temporaire / it’s a mindset, is an extract from La vie radieuse by Chantal Neveu, La Peuplade, 2016.
