This wall installation was presented at the artist-run center Diagonale in Montreal. Consisting of approximately 700 independent paper tiles that can be juxtaposed in two directions, the work can be reconfigured at will to integrate other places or suggest other spaces. I wanted to draw very simply the complexity of the sets and seek a form for the infinite in uniqueness and repetition.
This work and the two series of works, Blue cases and Instants, which constituted the exhibition Multiplicity exponent 3 propose a penetration of the form or a zoom into its substance. Representations of stains observed at different scales are imagined.
